Obverse: Helvetia standing facing, wearing toga, holding a spear in right hand and supporting a shield with the Swiss coat of arms with left hand. 22 stars around representing the cantons. Legend HELVETIA.
Reverse: Value 1/2 Fr. within wreath of oak and alpine roses. Date below.
