An aluminium 10 Lire of the Italian Republic, struck at the Rome Mint in 1986. One of the most recognisable coins of postwar Italy, this design by Giuseppe Romagnoli ran from 1951 all the way to 2001.

Obverse: A plough — symbol of Italy's agricultural heritage and industrious spirit. Legend REPVBBLICA ITALIANA above, date 1986 and mintmark R below.

Reverse: Two ears of wheat flanking the denomination 10, with designer's name ROMAGNOLI below.
