A classic aluminium circulation coin of the Italian Republic, struck at the Rome Mint in 1979. This enduring design — one of the most iconic of postwar Italian coinage — was produced continuously from 1951 to 2001.

Obverse: A plough, symbolising the agricultural roots of the Italian nation. Legend REPVBBLICA ITALIANA above with the date and mintmark R below. Designed by Giuseppe Romagnoli, engraved by Pietro Giampaoli.

Reverse: Two ears of wheat flanking the denomination 10, with the designer's name ROMAGNOLI below. A timeless celebration of harvest and sustenance.
